Your appointments are very important to us at UNA.
We hold your appointments just for you and ask that if you must cancel or reschedule any appointment that you please provide us with at least 24 hours notice.
We do, of course, understand that unavoidable issues come up and will do our best to work with you in case of an emergency.

Less than 24 hours notice will result in a charge equal to 50% of your reserved appointment.
Less than 3 hours notice or if you do not show up you will be invoiced the full amount of your appointment.

We rely on your timely reply to our confirmation message 48 hours prior to your service to keep our schedule running as smoothly as possible. If we do not hear back from you your appointment may be released.

Late Policy

We understand that life can throw unexpected surprises your way, causing potential delays.

We empathize with these situations and will make every effort to accommodate you.

However, it's important to keep in mind that your delay can have a ripple effect on our schedule, inconveniencing clients who arrive promptly.

If you are more than 15 minutes late it is highly likely we will need to reschedule your appointment.

To ensure a seamless experience for everyone, kindly notify us in advance via message if you anticipate being late. By doing so, we can proactively adjust our schedule and make arrangements to accommodate you to the best of our ability. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation in helping us maintain a smoothly running salon.

Salon Etiquette

Arrive on time: It's important to arrive punctually for your appointment to ensure that your stylist can accommodate you and give you the best possible service.

Be prepared: If you're getting a new hairstyle or color, it's advisable to do some research and gather ideas before your visit. This helps you and your stylist be on the same page and ensures better results. Reference images are always a big help!

Come with clean and dry hair: It's recommended to arrive at the salon with clean hair for a colour service unless your stylist advises otherwise. Dirty hair can affect colour results as some colour can not penetrate through oil build up. This also helps us assess your hair condition accurately.

Be patient: Know that some styles or services take more than one visit but we are here to work with you on a plan to achieve your dream hair!

Be Respectful: Treat your stylist and other salon staff with kindness and respect. We are professionals who work hard to make you look and feel great, so being polite and considerate is always appreciated.

Trust Your Stylist: While it's important to communicate your preferences, it's also crucial to trust your stylist's expertise. They have the knowledge and experience to offer valuable suggestions and guide you towards the best results.

Keep Conversations in Check: Engage in friendly conversations, but be mindful of the volume and content. Respect other clients' privacy by avoiding sensitive or personal topics that may make others uncomfortable.

Product Recommendations: During your service, your stylist will likely recommend haircare products that will protect your color, maintain the health of your hair, and also help with the styling process. We are not trying to sell you unnecessary extras, it’s part of our job to prescribe the correct home maintenance regime to keep your hair in it’s best condition and extend the life of your colour. On the same hand don’t feel obligated to purchase anything if it's not in your budget!

Provide Feedback: If you're unhappy with any aspect of your service, politely share your concerns with the stylist or the salon. Constructive feedback helps us improve our services and ensures client satisfaction.


There is ample parking along New North Road although please be aware it does become a clearway on our side of the road between 4pm - 6pm (the other side is fine!).

Kingsland Avenue is another great spot and there is also a small parking lot located at 430 New North Road.

You can also park along Sandringham Road and walk through the train station overbridge/underpass.
